Pilates Reformer Level 1
The traditional group reformer Pilates class is a full body workout that educates, realigns, strengthens, lengthens, and balances the entire body. It also helps build lean, flexible muscles. The Pilates method increases coordination, and improves body alignment and posture, while relieving stress and tension. The Pilates Reformer Level 1 class focuses on precision of movement. Each exercise requires complete concentration and controlled movements, which heightens mind-body awareness.
Pilates Reformer Level 2
Taught by our experienced instructors, the Reformer Level 2 is designed for those who have had some prior Reformer experience. This amped-up Pilates class combines resistance, strength, endurance and flexibility training, helping you to feel better than ever.
Additionally in Level 2 classes you step up the work you did in Level 1 to improve your strength, balance and endurance. You can guarantee sustained results with repeated visits. A minimum of five Level 1 Reformer classes are recommended to attend.
Pilates Reformer Level 3
The Level 3 Reformer class moves at a more vigorous pace and the duration of poses is longer than our other Reformer classes. This Pilates-based class incorporates many advanced exercises with fun twists and add ons to keep things interesting and challenging.
Only individuals who have extensive prior Reformer experience may join this class. Current Pilates Sonoma clients need to discuss with studio owners and/or an instructor before advancing to level 3 classes. Finally, if you have chronic or acute injuries that limit your mobility, a Level 1 or Level 2 class would be better for you.
